• • As a Pharmacy Intern in Coverage Review Operations at The Cigna Group, you will review medication coverage requests against plan-specific guidelines to determine if coverage can be granted, playing a vital role in ensuring patients receive appropriate and cost-effective therapies.
• • Day to day, you will utilize multiple clinical systems and resources to research medication information, apply patient assessment skills to support pharmacists and medical directors in their reviews, manage and prioritize work within a clinical queue system, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including pharmacists, nurses, and medical directors to deliver a customer-centric experience.
• • You will be part of The Cigna Group’s Evernorth Health Services division, specifically within Coverage Review Operations, a team focused on optimizing pharmacy benefit management through evidence-based clinical reviews that improve health outcomes and reduce unnecessary costs.
