Full Job Description

📋 Description

  • As the Pharmacy Partner Lead at Willow Health, you will be the cornerstone of our critical pharmacy partnerships, ensuring seamless operations and driving performance for our vital network of pharmacies. Willow Health is at the forefront of telehealth, specializing in personalized weight loss solutions that combine expert medical guidance with convenient home delivery. Our mission is to empower patients with sustainable, science-backed strategies for their health journeys, and our pharmacy partners are integral to delivering this promise.
  • In this pivotal role, you will serve as the primary day-to-day liaison for our existing pharmacy partners. Your ability to cultivate strong, trusted relationships will be paramount, ensuring our partners feel supported, understood, and valued. You will be the internal champion for these relationships, acting as the central point of coordination across multiple internal teams, including Operations, Product, Clinical, Customer Support, and Finance. Your efforts will directly contribute to the smooth execution of our services, the rapid resolution of any operational issues, and the accuracy of our commercial operations.
  • A key aspect of your responsibility will be to maintain and nurture these strategic B2B partnerships. This involves proactively identifying potential risks before they impact operations, uncovering new opportunities for growth and improvement, and implementing strategies to enhance the overall partner experience. You will be responsible for keeping pricing and contract data current and accessible, ensuring all agreements are up-to-date and reflect our evolving business needs.
  • You will orchestrate and lead regular operating rituals, such as weekly or bi-weekly review meetings with our pharmacy partners. These sessions will be crucial for discussing performance metrics, addressing operational challenges, and aligning on future strategies. Your role will involve creating agendas, facilitating discussions, documenting key decisions, and meticulously tracking action items to ensure accountability and progress.
  • A significant part of your role will involve collaborating closely with the Pharmacy Specialist to meticulously track, map, and resolve operational issues. This includes identifying recurring pain points, diagnosing process breakdowns, and implementing effective solutions to prevent future occurrences. You will be the guardian of our Pharmacy Playbooks and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring they are consistently updated and reflect best practices.
  • You will also oversee and coordinate processes for critical incidents. This includes managing the escalation process, ensuring timely and clear communication with partners, aligning internal stakeholders on the situation and required actions, and conducting thorough post-incident reviews to identify lessons learned and implement preventative measures.
  • Driving process improvements will be a core function of your role. You will be expected to recommend and execute changes that reduce friction in our operations, enhance efficiency, and ultimately improve both the partner and patient experience. Your insights will be invaluable in streamlining workflows and optimizing our service delivery.
  • Internally, you will act as the "voice of the pharmacy partner." This means you will be responsible for advocating for their needs and perspectives, aligning cross-functional teams on priorities, and ensuring that partner feedback is integrated into our strategic decision-making processes. You will translate partner needs into actionable insights for internal teams, fostering a collaborative and responsive environment.
  • Managing the end-to-end invoice reconciliation process is another critical responsibility. This involves meticulously validating invoice accuracy, investigating any discrepancies, coordinating approvals with relevant internal teams, and ensuring timely resolution of all payment-related matters. Maintaining clean and organized documentation, including contracts, amendments, and pricing tables, will be essential for operational efficiency and compliance.
  • This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of our pharmacy partnerships and directly impact the success of Willow Health's mission to provide accessible and effective weight loss solutions. You will be instrumental in building and scaling a robust pharmacy network that supports thousands of patients on their health journeys.
