- • Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems including cameras, NVRs/DVRs, and video management systems (VMS)
- • Support access control systems including badging, controllers, readers, and permission configurations
- • Perform hardware replacements for security components such as cameras, readers, controllers, and cabling
- • Troubleshoot physical security system issues across network, hardware, operating system, and application layers
- • Assist with storage systems used for video retention and evidence management
- • Execute system testing after installations and changes to ensure proper functionality
- • Develop and run Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) procedures for new deployments
- • Validate system performance, coverage, failover scenarios, storage retention, and compliance with design requirements
- • Identify, track, and help resolve issues discovered during testing
- • Verify network connectivity, device health, and system integrations
- • Produce and maintain accurate technical documentation including network diagrams, device inventories, configurations, and system architecture
- • Create and maintain SAT reports, test cases, and validation checklists
- • Document system changes, incidents, troubleshooting activities, and resolutions
- • Ensure all documentation is structured, standardized, and audit-ready
- • Support system upgrades, migrations, and new site rollouts across multiple U.S. locations
- • Work with vendors and integrators to ensure quality delivery of physical security infrastructure
- • Provide on-site and remote support for security systems nationwide
- • Monitor and troubleshoot system logs to identify operational issues and root causes
- • Ensure all physical security systems comply with internal standards and security requirements
- • Work independently in remote locations with minimal supervision
- • Travel extensively throughout the United States to support deployments, maintenance, and validation activities
- • Maintain clear communication and organizational discipline across all tasks and documentation
🎯 Requirements
- • 2+ years of hands-on experience with physical security systems (CCTV, access control)
- • Experience installing and configuring cameras and access control hardware
- • Experience with system testing, commissioning, SAT, or similar validation activities
- • Solid IT infrastructure knowledge including networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing basics, PoE, DNS, DHCP), Windows and Linux administration, storage technologies, and log analysis
- • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively throughout the United States
- • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, operating systems, and networks
