đź“‹ Description
- • Deliver one-on-one, evidence-based orthopedic care to a diverse caseload spanning adolescents through geriatrics, tailoring 45-60 minute sessions to each patient’s goals, lifestyle, and sport or work demands.
- • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide spectrum of musculoskeletal conditions—post-surgical shoulders and knees, chronic low-back pain, TMJ dysfunction, running injuries, post-fracture stiffness, and balance/vestibular disorders—while documenting functional outcomes that consistently rank in the 81st percentile nationally.
- • Collaborate daily with an interdisciplinary team of PTs, OTs, speech therapists, athletic trainers, and referring physicians; participate in weekly case-rounds and monthly journal clubs to ensure every plan of care reflects the latest research and Ivy’s clinical pathways.

- • Design and progress therapeutic exercise programs in our fully equipped gyms, Pilates reformer studios, and private treatment rooms, educating patients on biomechanics, load management, and injury-prevention strategies that extend well beyond discharge.
- • Serve as a clinical instructor for DPT students and new graduates, providing structured mentorship that aligns with APTA guidelines and Ivy’s Clinical Career Ladder; earn additional compensation and leadership credits for every student you guide to independence.
- • Contribute to community outreach—on-site screenings at local 5Ks, ergonomic lunch-and-learns at nearby corporations, and fall-prevention workshops at senior centers—positioning your clinic as the go-to musculoskeletal resource in Mahwah and surrounding Bergen County.
- • Track and report MIPS quality measures (we scored 98/100 for two consecutive years), participate in quarterly performance reviews, and partner with operations to refine workflows that enhance both patient satisfaction and clinician efficiency.
- • Explore subspecialty certification pathways—orthopedic, sports, pelvic health, vestibular, oncology, hand, neuro, Parkinson’s, performing arts, pulmonary, concussion, or dry needling—using Ivy’s annual Professional Education Planning (PEP) stipend and paid CEU days.
- • Engage in continuous growth through Ivy’s accredited orthopedic residency (in partnership with Hospital for Special Surgery), optional fellowship tracks, and quarterly leadership academies designed to prepare you for clinic director or equity-partner roles.
- • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in WebPT, ensuring defensible notes, optimal billing compliance, and seamless communication with referring providers and insurance carriers.
- • Champion Ivy’s culture of authenticity, inclusion, and community service; participate in DEI councils, charity fitness events, and teammate-led wellness initiatives that make Ivy a Modern Healthcare “Best Employer” award winner.
