📋 Description
- • The Physician Assistant will provide virtual, evidence-based care to children and adults with eating disorders as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team at Equip Health, a leading fully virtual eating disorder treatment program recognized for its strong clinical outcomes and commitment to accessibility.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include managing a high-volume patient caseload, conducting comprehensive assessments and diagnoses, implementing medication treatment plans via telehealth, collaborating with therapists, dietitians, and mentors, utilizing between-session messaging through Equip EMR, and participating in treatment team and supervision meetings.
- • Equip is a fully remote, mission-driven company founded in 2019 that operates in all 50 states, partners with major health insurers, and is dedicated to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging through initiatives like the Equip For All (EFA) council.
- • In this role, the Physician Assistant will deepen expertise in eating disorder treatment, gain experience in virtual care delivery, contribute to innovative telehealth models, and advance clinical skills through ongoing training and supervision in evidence-based modalities such as Family-Based Treatment and Enhanced CBT.
🎯 Requirements
- • Board Certified as a Physician Assistant
- • Active Oregon Physician Assistant license (must be actively licensed in Oregon)
- • 3+ years of experience treating pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients in an outpatient setting
- • Ability to maintain active licenses and pursue cross-licensing as needed
- • Effective communication with patients and caregivers, including timely response to messages
- • Commitment to evidence-based care, clinical growth, and collaborative multidisciplinary teamwork
