• • As a Physician on our Tele-Medicine team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, patient-centric care through our virtual platform. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a company that prioritizes affordability, human connection, and intuitive healthcare experiences, moving beyond the limitations of traditional healthcare systems.
• • Your primary responsibility will be to conduct comprehensive virtual visits for adult patients managing a wide spectrum of acute, chronic, and complex medical conditions. This includes providing continuous and specialized care in areas such as metabolic health, dermatology, hormone replacement therapy, mental health (specifically depression and anxiety), and hair loss management.
• • A significant focus of this role will be on obesity and metabolic health management, including the prescription and ongoing management of GLP-1s and related treatments. You will leverage your clinical expertise to guide patients through their health journeys, ensuring they receive the most effective and up-to-date care.
• • You will collaborate closely with Mochi Health's multidisciplinary care team, which includes nurses, medical assistants, and other specialists, to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care. This collaborative approach is central to our mission of providing comprehensive support.
• • A key aspect of your practice will involve employing cost-conscious prescribing strategies. This includes identifying and recommending compounded and generic medication options whenever appropriate, aligning with our commitment to making healthcare more affordable for patients.
• • You will utilize Mochi Health's advanced, custom-built Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, designed to streamline clinical workflows and enhance patient care delivery. This technology-forward approach allows for efficient management of patient data and treatment plans.
• • The role involves participating in continuing education opportunities, including an optional monthly academic lecture series, to stay abreast of the latest advancements in medicine and contribute to the collective knowledge of our provider network.
• • This position operates under a capitated payment model, where compensation is directly linked to the size of your patient panel. This model is designed to offer flexibility and fair compensation, with details to be discussed during the interview process.
• • You will be part of Mochi Medical, a physician-owned professional corporation affiliated with Mochi Health, Corp. While Mochi Health provides administrative and operational support, the clinical practice and role are managed under Mochi Medical, ensuring physician autonomy.
• • This is a remote, US-Only contract position, offering significant flexibility in your work schedule. You will have complete control over your hours, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.
