  • • Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical (high and low voltage) and mechanical issues on manufacturing and facility systems, including CNC machines, PLCs, utility systems (compressed air, potable water, HVAC), and production equipment, escalating advanced automation/control issues as needed.
  • • Maintain and repair electrical distribution systems, power supply lines, motors, generators, switches, control panels, circuit breakers, wiring, sensors, relays, and electronic components critical to facility operations.
  • • Oversee maintenance of facility utility systems and building equipment such as hoists, overhead doors, and industrial trucks to ensure operational continuity.
  • • Plan, schedule, and execute preventive maintenance activities using a CMMS, including parts procurement, work instruction development, routine inspections, and reliability improvement initiatives.
  • • Perform diagnostics and repairs on PLC systems, control panels, wiring, fuses, breakers, and circuits by interpreting electrical schematics and technical manuals to maintain seamless machine operation.
  • • Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations, including strict adherence to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and safety standards across all maintenance activities.
  • • Collaborate with vendors, Engineering, and Operations teams on system upgrades, new equipment installations, and maintenance projects to support the integration of equipment into a new production facility.
  • • Support project work and equipment installations by ensuring timely, safe, and effective execution while coordinating with internal stakeholders.
  • • Work independently with minimal supervision to complete assigned tasks, minimize production downtime, and proactively identify and resolve issues before they escalate.
  • • Provide informal guidance and support to other Maintenance Technician personnel while maintaining clear communication with the Facilities Manager and internal customers.
  • • Maintain a strong focus on safety in a designated safety-sensitive position, including participation in required drug and alcohol programs and adherence to all safety protocols.
  • • Utilize electrical testing equipment such as voltmeters, amp meters, and other diagnostic tools to accurately assess system performance and identify faults.
  • • Operate in varied weather conditions, stand or sit for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs as required by daily responsibilities.
  • • Contribute to the development of maintenance procedures and documentation for new equipment and facility systems as part of Crusoe’s expanding production infrastructure.
  • • Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance equipment reliability, reduce unplanned downtime, and optimize maintenance workflows.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5+ years (10+ preferred) of experience in high and low voltage electrical systems in a manufacturing environment, including installation, maintenance, and repair
  • • In-depth understanding of relevant electrical codes
  • • Skilled in using electrical testing equipment such as voltmeters, amp meters, and other diagnostic tools
  • • Strong commitment to safety with experience in Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and safety-sensitive environments
  • • Excellent troubleshooting skills for diagnosing complex electrical and mechanical issues
  • • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively with managers, peers, and vendors
