- • As a Platform Architect at Redox, you will design and evolve the core architecture of Redox Engine, the interoperability platform that enables real-time healthcare data exchange across a vast network of EHRs, health tech vendors, providers, payers, and life sciences organizations.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include defining technical strategy, leading architectural decisions for scalability and reliability, collaborating with engineering teams to implement platform improvements, evaluating emerging technologies, and ensuring the platform can handle over 1.2 billion messages per month while maintaining high performance and compliance.
- • You will join a mission-driven team at Redox, Inc., a company dedicated to accelerating healthcare transformation through useful data, where your work directly impacts the ability of 12,000+ systems and organizations to exchange critical health information securely and efficiently.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in healthcare interoperability standards (such as HL7, FHIR), distributed systems, cloud-native architecture, and enterprise-scale platform design, while influencing the future of healthcare data exchange at scale.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience designing and architecting large-scale, distributed systems or platforms, preferably in healthcare, fintech, or other regulated industries.
- • Deep understanding of healthcare interoperability standards including HL7 v2, HL7 v3, FHIR, and related data exchange protocols.
- • Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), microservices, API design, and event-driven architectures.
- • Experience with high-throughput systems capable of processing billions of transactions monthly, with focus on performance, reliability, and observability.
- • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and to lead cross-functional alignment on architectural vision.
