📋 Description

• Platform Engineer II - Oracle EBS/Apps DBA (Remote) role focused on providing Oracle Apps DBA support for Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), Oracle Databases, and Fusion Middleware in a high-availability production environment.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include administering Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2.x (installation, cloning, upgrades, online patching), managing Oracle Database 19c RAC environments (backup/recovery, HA, DR, performance tuning), supporting Oracle Fusion Middleware and WebLogic, executing security patching and Linux administration, and supporting cloud/hybrid environments (OCI, AWS, Azure) with automation and monitoring.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2.x, Oracle Database 19c, and Oracle Fusion Middleware / WebLogic
• Experience with security patching, Linux administration, vulnerability remediation, and operational support
• Experience with cloud or hybrid environments, preferably OCI, with exposure to AWS or Azure
• AI literacy and ability to evaluate enterprise use cases using approved AI tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, or similar platforms
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and ability to work in a 24x7 production support environment
