📋 Description

• Own end-to-end PR programs including media-director relationships, pitching stories, securing placements in interviews, articles, and podcasts, and managing inbound press inquiries.
• Build and nurture relationships with media, podcasters, and influencers through phone calls and in-person interactions to drive earned media and grow brand reach.
• Monitor brand mentions and reputation across media channels, responding proactively to maintain positive public perception.
• Lead book and thought-leadership programs from concept to distribution: coordinate edits, assemble press kits, secure endorsements, manage printed and digital distribution, and produce video testimonials and reviews.
• Coordinate advisor programs including workshops, e-courses, CRM stewardship, workbook shipments, Thrive Groups, meet-and-greets, and advisor conferences.
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with financial advisors, influencers, and community leaders to expand brand presence and generate qualified leads.
• Manage conference and sponsorship participation: recommend events, represent the brand on-site, maximize sponsor benefits (logos, booths, attendee lists), secure speaking slots, and implement lead capture and follow-up systems.
• Develop and execute radio and podcast content campaigns in collaboration with Fund 17 and Thriving Families stakeholders, aligning messaging with brand goals.
• Source and vet external talent such as videographers, assistants, influencers, or writers as needed, with final approval from the EVP for spending.
• Drive measurable outcomes: achieve approximately 1,000 new qualified connections per month across both brands through PR, relationships, and partnerships.
• Operate with an owner’s mindset: work flexible hours as needed, maintain consistent communication, and ensure no aspect of program execution falls through the cracks.
• Build AI-assisted PR systems using tools like Claude AI to automate media list building, monitoring, and personalized outreach workflows that double reach and efficiency.
• Function as a self-sufficient operator: independently identify next steps, learn new tools quickly, and solve problems creatively while leveraging team support for feedback.
• Travel to the United States up to six times per year for approximately one week each trip, including a confirmed trip from August 31 to September 3.
• Maintain a reliable remote work setup with a U.S. phone number and dialing capability to effectively engage with U.S.-based media, advisors, and partners.
• Collaborate with internal teams including the art department, copywriter, social media manager, and investor relations team to execute integrated campaigns.
• Ensure all communications and materials comply with SEC regulations and investor-facing compliance standards.
• Maintain a dynamic map of key external relationships and their owners, ensuring accountability and continuity across programs.
• Deliver high-touch, relationship-driven engagement — prioritizing trust-building over content creation, which is handled by dedicated team members.
• Demonstrate a low-ego, hospitable temperament that makes others want to engage, respond, and refer.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years in PR, communications, or media relations with a verifiable track record of secured media placements and an active media/partner network.
• Near-native English proficiency with proven comfort conducting high-stakes conversations on the phone and in person with U.S. media, advisors, and partners.
• Demonstrated experience in book launches, thought-leadership PR, press kit development, and securing endorsements for authors or experts.
• Proven experience managing conference sponsorships, securing speaking slots, and representing brands on-site at live events.
• Ability to build and implement AI-assisted PR systems (e.g., media databases, monitoring tools, personalized outreach workflows) beyond basic prompt usage.
• Valid passport and genuine readiness to travel to the U.S. up to six times annually.
