- • As Practice Leader for Management and Financial Lines at Relation Insurance Services, you will drive profitable growth and market leadership for a critical portfolio including D&O, EPL, Fiduciary Liability, Crime, Reps and Warranties, Tax, and Cyber insurance products, directly impacting the company’s strategic positioning and revenue trajectory in a high-value specialty insurance segment.
- • You will set the strategic vision, own revenue accountability, and lead a high-performing team of producers and placement specialists, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals while fostering a consultative, insight-driven sales culture that strengthens client relationships and expands market share through innovative advisory and placement practices.
- • Reporting into a dynamic, collaborative organization known for innovation and excellence, you will join a market-leading insurance brokerage committed to cutting-edge solutions, where your leadership will shape talent development, carrier partnerships, and operational best practices across a national footprint.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in complex financial and management risk solutions, enhance executive advisory capabilities, and lead enterprise-wide initiatives that advance the firm’s technological adoption—including proprietary AI tools—to deliver best-in-class service, positioning yourself as a trusted leader in specialty insurance with significant influence on industry trends and firm growth.
- • You will be responsible for guiding renewal and risk transfer strategies for high-exposure accounts, enforcing underwriting quality standards, cultivating senior carrier relationships, and providing executive counsel on governance, financial, and operational risks, while establishing governance models, CRM discipline, and data standards to ensure scalability and consistency.
- • You will lead, mentor, and develop producers and practice leaders, build succession planning, drive cross-functional collaboration between sales, placement, and account teams, and oversee marketing and placement strategy for new and renewal business to ensure competitive differentiation and alignment with evolving market dynamics.
- • You will establish operational standards across renewals, compliance, and data discipline, lead strategic initiatives that advance market positioning, and fully adopt innovative technologies—including AI—to enhance service delivery, all while managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines and traveling as needed to support client and carrier engagements.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum 12 years’ experience in insurance brokerage, underwriting, or specialty risk advisory with a focused background in financial lines products such as D&O, EPL, Fiduciary, Crime, and Cyber.
- • Minimum 5 years of senior leadership experience with proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence matrixed organizations, and develop national strategies that drive operational consistency and team performance.
- • Active Property and Casualty insurance license from your state of domicile is required and must be maintained; Surplus Lines License is strongly preferred, and professional designations such as CPCU, ARM, or CIC are advantageous.
