- • The Pre-Certification Coordinator I (Remote) - Neurology role is essential for ensuring timely and accurate pre-certification of medical procedures, directly supporting patient access to care and maximizing reimbursement through effective coordination with third-party payers.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include initiating and facilitating pre-determination processes, contacting insurance companies for benefit verification and pre-certification of surgical and nonsurgical procedures, supplying required documentation, maintaining daily surgery/procedure schedules for department faculty, and documenting pre-certification statuses for hospital utilization and billing teams.
- • The role operates within Washington University in St. Louis’s neurology department, contributing to a mission-driven academic medical center committed to excellence in patient care, research, and education, with a remote work structure that supports flexibility while maintaining high standards of service.

🎯 Requirements
- • High school diploma or equivalent
