📋 Description

• The Pre-Licensed Therapist role at Equip Health Inc. is critical to delivering evidence-based, virtual eating disorder treatment to patients across the lifespan, ensuring access to care that works through a multidisciplinary team approach.
• Day to day, the therapist will provide individual, family, and group therapy using modalities such as FBT, CBT-E, and CBT-AR, maintain a patient caseload, document clinical work, utilize between-session messaging via EMR, and collaborate with medical providers, dietitians, and mentors.
• Equip is a fully virtual, mission-driven company recognized as one of Time’s most influential companies of 2023, dedicated to expanding access to evidence-based eating disorder treatment in all 50 states with a culture rooted in diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
• In this role, the therapist will gain supervised clinical hours toward full licensure, receive financial support for licensure and continuing education, develop expertise in specialized eating disorder treatments, and grow professionally within a supportive, mission-aligned team.

🎯 Requirements

• Completion of a Master’s or doctoral degree in a mental health field and associate license-eligibility or active pursuit of licensure in New York (e.g., marriage and family therapy, social work, professional counseling, psychology)
• Ability to provide 30 hours per week of availability for direct patient care, including a minimum of 20 hours after 2 pm and availability to work until 7 pm three evenings per week in the patient’s time zone
• Willingness to support a diverse caseload of patients across ages, cultures, co-occurring conditions, and varying acuity levels with enthusiasm and strong teamwork
• Passion for evidence-based care and expanding access to mental health and eating disorder treatment
• Ability to safely and effectively deliver care in a virtual telehealth setting

• Annual earning potential of $65,000–$75,000, consisting of base pay plus up to 15% performance-based bonus
