This pivotal role sits within our Scaled Growth organization, where you will act as a trusted technical advisor to a diverse range of enterprise organizations across the Americas, ensuring their success with our solutions.
  • • You will collaborate closely with sales executives and the broader Field Solutions Architecture team, playing a critical role in understanding customer business challenges and translating them into effective technical strategies. Your expertise will be instrumental in winning deals and driving significant business growth for MongoDB.
  • • Your responsibilities will span the entire deal cycle, from initial technical discovery and qualification to crafting compelling demonstrations, proof-of-value engagements, and detailed technical documentation. You will be expected to analyze complex existing application architectures, identify areas for improvement, and provide expert guidance on how to leverage MongoDB to achieve optimal performance, scalability, and availability.
  • • A key aspect of this role involves articulating the business value of MongoDB's solutions to both technical and business stakeholders. You will need to possess exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying intricate technical concepts in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner.
  • • You will actively participate in demand generation initiatives, proactively identifying opportunities within your assigned sales territory. This includes self-driven technical outreach, engaging in industry trade shows, and contributing to account-based marketing events to build pipeline and foster new business relationships.
  • • Building and nurturing strong customer relationships is paramount. You will work to establish yourself as a go-to resource, cultivate champions within client organizations, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and long-term success with MongoDB.
  • • This role offers a unique opportunity for continuous learning and professional development. You will gain mastery over the comprehensive MongoDB product suite, including its core database server, Atlas (our fully managed cloud database service), Atlas Stream Processing, Atlas Data Lake, Atlas Full-Text Search, Atlas Vector Search, and Charts. You will also become proficient with tools like the Relational Migrator.
  • • Beyond MongoDB's offerings, you will deepen your expertise in market-relevant technologies. This includes gaining in-depth knowledge of hyperscaler ecosystems (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure), designing complex systems within these cloud environments, and understanding complementary technologies such as Apache Kafka and Kubernetes.
  • • You will be instrumental in guiding customers on modern architecture design principles, including microservices, DevOps, cloud-native strategies, and security best practices. Furthermore, you will play a key role in helping customers navigate the rapidly evolving landscape of Generative AI, architecting cutting-edge RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and AI solutions in collaboration with industry partners.
  • • The role also emphasizes the development of essential sales techniques and soft skills. You will hone your abilities in effective communication, mastering presentations, technical demonstrations, and whiteboarding sessions. Developing strategies for effective customer discovery and objection handling will be crucial for success.
