- • As a Senior Pre-Sales Systems Engineer for Pure Storage’s SLED-NJ team, you will drive innovation in the data storage industry by understanding customer challenges and tailoring Pure Storage solutions to meet their specific needs, playing a crucial role in the sales process as a technical expert.
- • Day to day, you will develop deep insights into customer business drivers, connect technology solutions to measurable outcomes, partner with account managers and channel partners to create seamless customer experiences, lead evaluations and benchmarks, deliver technical presentations, capture and translate business needs into innovative storage solutions, and promote interoperability testing and roadmap exchanges.
- • You will join a dynamic, smart, and innovative team at Pure Storage, a leader in flash technology and data storage, dedicated to reshaping the industry with a customer-first mindset and strong values of persistence, creativity, teamwork, and ownership.
- • In this role, you will grow your expertise in enterprise storage architectures, cloud-native technologies, and multi-vendor ecosystems while sharpening your ability to translate technical capabilities into business value, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor and thought leader in the SLED market.
🎯 Requirements
- • Pre-sales experience is required
- • 5 or more years of relevant experience in technology, design, and communications, with preference for enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software sales to enterprise accounts
- • Deep understanding of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing solutions architecture, design, and implementation
- • Superior knowledge of current and emerging storage architectures (FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, SAN)
- • Previous experience with Linux, NFS file systems, and Linux distributed network environments
- • Strong knowledge of digital transformation to Cloud Native, On-Prem, Public Cloud, Provisioning Automation, and Containers
- • Familiarity with VMware, LAN, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and general networking
- • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, containers, Kubernetes, and microservices architectures (a plus)
- • Familiarity with storage-intensive applications such as SQL and Oracle databases (highly desirable)
- • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills
