- • As a Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer specializing in Cybersecurity at SHI International Corp., you will be at the forefront of delivering cutting-edge security solutions to a diverse global clientele. This customer-facing role is pivotal in bridging the gap between complex technical security challenges and tangible business outcomes, empowering organizations to navigate the ever-evolving threat landscape with confidence.
- • You will act as a trusted technical advisor, engaging deeply with customers to understand their unique business objectives, identify critical security vulnerabilities, and assess their existing technology environments. This consultative approach ensures that the solutions proposed are not only technically sound but also strategically aligned with the client's overarching goals.
- • A core responsibility involves conducting thorough technical discovery sessions, meticulously analyzing customer security architectures to pinpoint gaps, potential risks, and opportunities for enhancement. This deep dive allows for the development of tailored, high-level architectures and comprehensive solution proposals.
- • You will be instrumental in designing and recommending scalable, robust cybersecurity solutions that adhere to industry best practices and directly address identified customer requirements. This includes a broad understanding of both traditional IT and Operational Technology (OT) security environments, ensuring comprehensive coverage.
- • A significant part of your role will involve articulating the value proposition of SHI's security offerings. You will present complex security solutions, highlight competitive differentiators, and demonstrate the business impact to a wide range of audiences, from highly technical teams to executive leadership.
- • To effectively showcase these solutions, you will lead and support product demonstrations, engaging whiteboard sessions, and in-depth technical briefings, translating intricate technical features into clear benefits.
- • Collaboration is key; you will work closely with SHI's technology partners and vendors to validate proposed solutions, ensuring they are cutting-edge and meet the highest standards of efficacy and reliability.
- • You will play a crucial role in pre-sales proof-of-concept (PoC) initiatives, meticulously planning and executing these engagements to validate the technical feasibility and demonstrable business value of proposed solutions.
- • Beyond direct customer engagement, you will serve as a vital resource for internal sales teams, providing essential technical enablement and specialized security-focused training. This empowers the sales force to better understand and articulate SHI's cybersecurity capabilities.
- • Ensuring a seamless transition from pre-sales engagement to post-sales implementation is paramount. You will facilitate a smooth handoff to delivery teams, guaranteeing continuity and client satisfaction throughout the entire solution lifecycle.
- • This role demands exceptional presentation skills, the ability to negotiate effectively, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and relationship building. You will be expected to manage multiple complex tasks, maintain meticulous attention to detail, and ensure high-quality documentation, including system diagrams and presentations.
- • Your expertise will extend to understanding and applying security frameworks such as NIST, HITRUST, and CIS, and you will possess strong technical knowledge in areas like identity governance, DLP, CASB, SWG, DSPM, USB control, file encryption, and ransomware recovery solutions.
- • You will leverage your expertise in mainstream security technologies from leading vendors like Proofpoint, Mimecast, Abnormal, Rubrik, Varonis, Sentra, and Cohesity to craft and present compelling solutions.
- • This remote position offers the opportunity to significantly impact client security postures while working within a dynamic and growing organization, with potential for periodic travel to the Austin, Texas office as business needs dictate.
