- • Drive comprehensive pricing strategies by translating business goals into actionable pricing models for new and existing public sector opportunities, ensuring optimal service combinations and price points to meet organizational targets.
- • Develop and execute "price-to-win" strategies specifically tailored for federal contracts, balancing competitiveness with profitability across Cost-Plus, Time and Materials, and Firm-Fixed-Price contract types.
- • Collaborate with cross-functional Public Sector teams including Contracts, Subcontracts, and Program Business Support to build compelling, data-driven sales proposals and provide analytical support to customer-facing teams.
- • Ensure full compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requirements by designing and maintaining internal financial models used in federal solicitations and contract modifications.
- • Prepare detailed cost volumes and pricing documentation for federal procurement opportunities, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with government contracting standards.
- • Analyze complex financial and operational data to identify pricing trends, risks, and opportunities, translating findings into clear, persuasive recommendations for senior leadership.
- • Support contract renewals and modifications by evaluating historical performance, cost structures, and market conditions to recommend pricing adjustments that maximize retention and margin.
- • Work closely with finance and operations teams to validate cost assumptions, labor rates, overhead allocations, and indirect expense structures used in pricing models.
- • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of General Services Administration (GSA) schedules and other public sector procurement vehicles to inform pricing strategy and positioning.
- • Contribute to the optimization of Iron Mountain’s government contract portfolio by identifying underperforming contracts and proposing strategic pricing interventions.
- • Serve as a subject matter expert on pricing methodology within the Public Sector division, providing guidance and training to junior analysts and team members.
- • Ensure all pricing activities adhere to internal controls, audit readiness standards, and ethical compliance protocols specific to federal contracting.
- • Leverage data analytics tools and financial software to automate reporting, improve model accuracy, and enhance decision-making speed across the sales pipeline.
- • Participate in bid teams for major federal RFPs, providing pricing leadership from initial opportunity assessment through proposal submission and post-submission debriefs.
- • Monitor competitor pricing activities and market dynamics within the public sector to inform proactive pricing adjustments and strategic positioning.
- • Document and standardize pricing processes to ensure scalability, repeatability, and knowledge transfer across the team.
