  • • As a Principal, Account Executive, Expansion at Autodesk, you will drive revenue growth by expanding relationships within a portfolio of 25+ enterprise accounts, focusing on upselling, cross-selling, and add-on sales to meet quarterly and annual quotas in the West US region, with a primary focus on the Los Angeles and San Francisco metro areas.
  • • You will act as a trusted advisor to senior customer stakeholders, leveraging deep industry knowledge in Architecture, Engineering, Construction (AEC) or Manufacturing to co-develop tailored solutions, forecast pipeline performance, and lead strategic account planning in collaboration with technical and extended sales teams.
  • • Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing your book of business by selling new products and expanding existing renewals, leading end-to-end account strategy and sales cycles for new and renewal opportunities, producing new opportunity pipelines weekly to ensure quota attainment, and delivering accurate business forecasts.
  • • You will exemplify Autodesk’s team-selling culture by collaborating closely with Business Development Reps, Account Technical Leads, Customer Success Managers, Renewal Reps, channel partners, and other extended team members to deliver cohesive customer experiences.
  • • As a model representative of Autodesk, you will lead client presentations, build trusted-advisor relationships with C-level executives, and participate in marketing events and conferences to strengthen brand presence and customer engagement.
  • • You will partner with technical and extended sales teams to co-develop customer solutions, ensuring alignment between product capabilities and customer business objectives while driving long-term value and expansion.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5+ years of experience in quota-attainment-based sales roles
  • • Enterprise software sales experience in the Architecture, Engineering, Construction (AEC) or Manufacturing industries
  • • Proven experience prospecting and engaging with C-level contacts
  • • Demonstrated closing and negotiation skills in complex enterprise sales environments
