📋 Description

• As a Principal Actuary at Prime Therapeutics, you will serve as a strategic thought leader and subject matter expert in actuarial science, directly influencing pricing strategies and business decisions for pharmacy benefit management clients across commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid lines of business. Your expertise will help shape innovative actuarial models that drive value for clients while ensuring compliance with evolving healthcare regulations and actuarial standards.
• Day to day, you will collaborate with underwriters, cross-functional teams, and senior management on pricing initiatives and RFP processes; lead and review complex data analyses, projections, and pharmacy data mining to answer critical business questions; provide strategic pricing advice using financial projections, market research, and advanced actuarial modeling; present findings to executives and clients, translating technical insights into actionable recommendations; mentor and develop junior actuarial team members; monitor health policy and regulatory changes impacting pricing strategies; and ensure all work adheres to federal regulations and actuarial standards of practice.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Math, Actuarial Science, Economics, or Finance
• 8 years of actuarial work experience, including 6 years in a healthcare organization or PBM
• Actuarial designation (ASA or FSA)
• Advanced proficiency in Excel; intermediate proficiency in SAS, SQL, or VBA
• Strong project management, organizational, verbal, written communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
• Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship
