- • The Principal Consultant - Telecom is a senior technical leadership role responsible for delivering complex, multi-discipline projects and serving as a trusted subject matter expert in telecommunications infrastructure and systems design.
- • Day to day, the individual will lead discipline-specific design efforts, serve as Project Lead on key initiatives, ensure project profitability and scope alignment, document client-specific processes, and evaluate project health to proactively identify and mitigate risks.
- • The role operates within Teecom Corporation, a firm specializing in technology systems consulting, where the consultant will collaborate with Group and Team Leads to uphold standards, improve workflows, and strengthen internal capabilities through mentorship and technical guidance.
- • In this role, the individual will deepen their expertise in telecom systems, influence organizational standards through documentation and tool improvements, build client trust as a technical advisor, and contribute to business development by shaping technical narratives and supporting pursuit efforts.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- • 10+ years of progressive experience in telecommunications systems design, consulting, or engineering delivery
- • Proven ability to lead complex, multi-discipline technical projects from initiation to completion
- • Demonstrated expertise in telecom infrastructure, including structured cabling, audiovisual systems, and network design
- • Experience mentoring junior engineers and providing technical feedback to improve team performance
- • Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., BICSI, TIA/EIA, NEC) and commitment to advancing organizational best practices
