- • As a Principal Enterprise Strategist (PES) within CDW’s Integrated Technology Solutions/Digital Velocity (ITS/DV) organization, you will operate at the forefront of technological innovation, serving as a senior, enterprise-level strategic advisor for CDW’s most complex and impactful customer engagements. This pivotal role demands a trusted partnership with executive customers and internal sales leadership, focusing on shaping multi-practice strategies that directly connect critical business priorities to tangible, integrated technology outcomes. You will be instrumental in driving transformative change for our clients, ensuring their technology investments yield maximum return and strategic advantage.
- • You will function as a cross-practice quarterback, expertly guiding complex initiatives that span a broad spectrum of cutting-edge technology domains. This includes, but is not limited to, cloud computing, data and artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, digital experience platforms, and modern infrastructure services and solutions. Your ability to orchestrate these diverse elements into a cohesive and powerful strategy will be key to client success.
- • A core responsibility is to elevate executive conversations, transforming them into strategic dialogues that align technology with overarching business goals. You will strengthen existing account strategies, identify new opportunities for growth, and ensure that all proposed solutions are not only technically sound but also cohesive, highly differentiated, and demonstrably outcome-driven, leading to increased client satisfaction and loyalty.
- • This role embodies a critical leadership position that influences strategy development, sophisticated deal shaping, and the crucial alignment of execution plans. You will collaborate intimately with a diverse team, including sellers, Enterprise Solution Executives, Solution Architects, delivery leaders, and specialized practice teams. Your objective is to drive larger, more strategic opportunities forward, while simultaneously reducing friction in the sales and delivery process and accelerating the pace of customer decision-making.
- • Beyond individual engagements, you will provide invaluable thought leadership and mentorship to the broader Enterprise Strategist community. This includes sharing best practices, refining operating standards, and contributing to the overall scaling of expertise and effectiveness across the organization. Your influence will help build a stronger, more capable team dedicated to delivering exceptional value.
- • You will serve as a senior strategic advisor, translating complex customer business priorities into actionable, integrated, multi-practice technology strategies that deliver measurable and impactful outcomes. This involves deep discovery, understanding client challenges, and architecting solutions that address their unique needs.
- • Acting as the cross-practice quarterback, you will coordinate and unify efforts across Cloud, Data & AI, Security, Digital Experience, Infrastructure, and Services to create a single, compelling, and unified solution strategy that resonates with executive stakeholders.
- • You will partner closely with sales teams and Enterprise Solution Executives to meticulously shape large, strategic deals, enhance account plans with strategic insights, and proactively identify cross-practice whitespace opportunities for expansion and deeper client engagement.
- • Leading and facilitating executive-level conversations is paramount. You will guide discussions to help customers clearly connect their strategic business objectives to evolving technology roadmaps, empowering them to make confident, well-informed decisions that drive their business forward.
- • Maintaining engagement across the full lifecycle of major initiatives is essential, from the initial stages of discovery and strategy formulation through detailed solution design and the critical alignment of execution plans to ensure successful delivery.
- • You will guide the development of integrated Statements of Work (SOWs), compelling demonstrations, and robust solution architectures, actively working to reduce friction and ensure a high degree of consistency and quality across all involved practices.
- • A key aspect of your role will be to help quantify the value of proposed solutions by aligning them directly to business impact, financial outcomes, and demonstrable Return on Investment (ROI), thereby supporting stronger differentiation and improved win rates for CDW.
- • You will provide crucial mentorship and leadership to fellow Enterprise Strategists and presales teams, reinforcing established operating standards, clarifying role responsibilities, and disseminating best practices to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- • You will actively contribute to CDW’s thought leadership initiatives, participate in internal enablement programs, and drive the ongoing improvement of the Enterprise Strategist operating model and associated tools, ensuring CDW remains at the cutting edge of strategic technology consulting.
- • Finally, you will represent the Digital Velocity organization with distinction in both internal strategic forums and high-profile customer-facing engagements, acting as a senior, trusted leader and subject matter expert.
