- • As a Principal Presales Engineer at Twilio, you will be a critical technical partner to the sales team, responsible for delivering technical wins and building customer trust in Twilio’s communications solutions by leading pre-sales activities, designing architectures, and demonstrating product value to enterprise clients.
- • Day to day, you will partner with Account Executives to qualify opportunities, lead technical discovery sessions, build and deliver complex product demonstrations and presentations, run Proof-of-Concepts, respond to RFPs, and create reusable technical assets while mentoring peers and sharing knowledge across the Solutions Engineering community.
- • You will join Twilio’s Strategic Communications team, a remote-first, globally inclusive organization shaping the future of customer engagement through innovative communications platforms used by hundreds of thousands of businesses and millions of developers worldwide.
- • In this role, you will grow as a technical influencer and strategic advisor, owning complex sales cycles independently, shaping team strategy, expanding your expertise in cloud and API technologies, and developing leadership skills by uplifting peers and bringing customer insights to product and engineering teams.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelors and/or Masters degree in a technical discipline (Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science) or equivalent practical experience
- • Minimum of 8 years in a solutions engineering (presales) role specializing in complex technical products, or 10+ years of professional experience supporting technical products with customer-facing delivery or consulting experience
- • Previous software development experience in backend (Java, C#, Node.js, Python, PHP), web development (JavaScript, HTML/CSS, React, Vue.js, Angular), or building with REST APIs
