- • Lead the strategy, evolution, and governance of the Genesys Cloud Monetization Platform, ensuring accurate measurement, entitlement, rating, billing, auditing, and reporting of all billable capabilities across the platform.
- • Define and execute the vision and roadmap for monetization, establishing platform standards, patterns, and requirements for usage collection, entitlement management, rating engines, billing systems, and financial reporting.
- • Serve as the primary advisor to all product teams introducing new monetized features, usage dimensions, packaging models, or pricing constructs, ensuring alignment with monetization platform requirements.
- • Partner deeply with engineering teams responsible for metering pipelines, event processing systems, entitlement services, rating engines, billing platforms, APIs, and downstream operational systems to translate complex technical architectures into scalable monetization solutions.
- • Define requirements, acceptance criteria, observability standards, reconciliation processes, and operational controls to ensure monetization accuracy, platform reliability, and auditability at enterprise scale.
- • Champion revenue integrity by ensuring traceability and trust in usage and billing outcomes for customers, Finance, and executive leadership.
- • Identify and mitigate risks that could lead to revenue leakage, overbilling, compliance violations, or financial control deficiencies across the monetization lifecycle.
- • Drive cross-functional resolution and remediation of monetization issues, improving platform reliability, operational maturity, and scalability across Product, Engineering, Finance, Pricing, Revenue Operations, and Business Systems teams.
- • Ensure monetization capabilities support current and future business models by aligning technical execution with financial, legal, and operational requirements.
- • Maintain rigorous operational discipline to prevent errors that could impact financial reporting, customer trust, or audit outcomes.
- • Enable scalable and consistent monetization across all Genesys Cloud products and services, supporting innovation in pricing, packaging, and commercial models.
- • Influence and drive alignment across multiple product and engineering organizations without direct authority, leveraging technical credibility and systems-thinking expertise.
- • Translate business requirements into technical specifications for monetization systems while balancing customer experience, financial accuracy, platform maintainability, and operational efficiency.
- • Ensure the monetization platform supports the introduction of 150+ new AI features annually, enabling accurate revenue realization for all innovations delivered across Genesys Cloud.
- • Maintain awareness of evolving financial controls, revenue recognition processes, and compliance frameworks to ensure platform adherence to regulatory and audit standards.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of product management experience, including significant experience with technical platform products, monetization systems, billing platforms, financial systems, infrastructure services, or other highly technical domains.
- • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with senior engineers and architects on complex distributed systems, data pipelines, APIs, and platform architectures.
- • Experience with one or more of the following: usage metering, billing systems, subscription management, entitlement management, pricing platforms, financial systems, revenue operations, or large-scale data processing platforms.
- • Strong systems-thinking skills with the ability to understand end-to-end workflows spanning customer-facing products, platform services, and back-office systems.
- • Proven ability to influence and drive alignment across multiple product and engineering organizations without direct authority.
