📋 Description

• As a Principal Software Engineer for a new product at Veeva Systems, you will be a founding member of a team building the company’s next major AI-driven platform focused on transforming how life sciences companies manage safety, regulatory, and clinical development.
• You will influence and help grow a codebase and engineering organization from the ground up, wearing multiple hats across the engineering organization, with a focus on using AI to drive engineering productivity and building products that apply AI in innovative ways to meaningful problems.
• Veeva Systems is a mission-driven pioneer in industry cloud for life sciences, a public benefit corporation (PBC) committed to balancing the interests of customers, employees, society, and investors, and a Work Anywhere company supporting flexibility in work location.
• Within your first year, you will help deliver live customers on the platform and contribute to building a thriving, growing engineering team that accelerates how life-saving products reach patients.

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive experience in software engineering with a strong focus on Python development
• Proven ability to influence and grow codebases and engineering teams from the ground up
• Experience with AI-driven development practices or building AI-powered products
• Strong engineering discipline and a track record of delivering high-impact, scalable systems
• Ability to wear multiple hats and work across functions in a fast-moving, innovative environment
