- • The Principal Solution Architect - IBM Mainframe, Z Systems Hardware Support Specialist is a field-based technical pre-sales role focused on developing comprehensive Hybrid Infrastructure solutions for CDW customers, combining consultative guidance, partner product sales support, and strategic relationship building to drive business growth in hybrid infrastructure services.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include developing assessment and service solutions (architecture, optimizations, technology health checks, deployment services, advisory services), collaborating with customers and internal teams to provide consultative guidance and author statements of work, analyzing technical and competitive factors to align solutions with customer long-term goals, maintaining strategic relationships as a trusted advisor, and acting as a subject matter expert through content creation, mentoring, and technical enablement for other solution architects and field teams.
