- • Lead and scale a high-performing team of thermal and thermo-mechanical engineers focused on customer engagement and platform adoption across Asia Pacific.
- • Drive the technical evaluation of Vinci’s platform by supporting simulation setup, running test cases, and interpreting results for prospective customers in semiconductor and electronics design.
- • Collaborate directly with customer engineering teams to understand their thermal and mechanical design challenges, including steady-state and transient thermal behavior, linear and nonlinear mechanics, geometric and material nonlinearities, and contact interactions.
- • Demonstrate Vinci’s software value by validating real-world customer designs related to thermal risk, warpage, stress evolution, and reliability in advanced semiconductor devices, electronics packages, and wafer-scale systems.
- • Deliver product demonstrations, proof-of-concept evaluations, and in-depth technical discussions alongside the sales team to support customer acquisition and adoption.
- • Provide technical guidance, training, and troubleshooting during customer onboarding and production deployment phases to ensure successful integration of Vinci’s platform.
- • Conduct technical workshops and training sessions to enable customer teams to independently adopt and scale Vinci’s tools within their engineering workflows.
- • Represent Vinci at industry conferences and semiconductor events through live product demos, booth engagement, and technical networking with prospects and partners.
- • Serve as a key feedback channel between customers and internal product and engineering teams, translating real-world use cases into actionable product improvements.
- • Maintain deep expertise in commercial simulation software such as Flowtherm, Cadence, Ansys, Abaqus, and LS-DYNA to validate and compare performance against Vinci’s AI-enhanced platform.
- • Analyze complex physical phenomena including thermal management, mechanical warpage, and reliability metrics across advanced packaging technologies like 2.5D/3D IC and wafer-scale systems.
- • Work closely with teams in Palo Alto, CA, USA, requiring moderate travel within Asia and occasional intercontinental travel for collaboration.
- • Spend several days per week on-site at customer locations in Taiwan to support hands-on evaluations and deployments.
- • Stay current with competitive technologies, industry trends, and market positioning to effectively articulate Vinci’s unique differentiators in AI-driven hardware design.
🎯 Requirements
- • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field
- • 15+ years of hands-on experience with thermal management, mechanical warpage, stress, and reliability using commercial software such as Flowtherm, Cadence, Ansys, Abaqus, LS-DYna, etc.
- • Scripting experience using Python or C++
- • Prior managerial or leadership experience
- • Prior experience in customer-facing roles
- • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
