📋 Description

• As a Procedural Data Generation Engineer at Vinci4D Inc., you will build the systems that create synthetic geometries, materials, boundary conditions, and simulation configurations essential for training and evaluating physics AI models used in hardware design.
• Your day-to-day work will involve designing and building procedural generators for parametric, hardware-like geometry using programmatic CAD tools like CadQuery, OpenCascade, or Build123d; generating physically plausible simulation configurations that respect real engineering constraints; and defining metrics to measure diversity and coverage of generated datasets to close the loop with model performance.
• You will join a specialized data generation team at the intersection of computational geometry, physics simulation, and machine learning, working to ensure training data is both diverse and physically valid to maximize model accuracy and generalization.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in geometry processing, procedural generation, and physics-informed data synthesis while contributing directly to the foundation of Vinci’s AI-driven hardware design platform.

🎯 Requirements

• Software engineering skills, especially in Python
• Hands-on experience with programmatic/parametric geometry: scripted CAD, B-rep and mesh representations, SDFs, or procedural generation in graphics tools
• Solid geometry processing fundamentals: meshing, boolean operations, voxelization/rasterization, and their numerical pitfalls
• Comfort reasoning about physical validity — understanding whether boundary conditions, material assignments, or loading scenarios make physical sense
