- • The Mortgage QC Verifications Processor is responsible for performing post-closing quality control (QC) reverifications in accordance with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, HUD, and VA guidelines, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of loan files by independently validating key borrower and loan data as part of the post-closing QC review process.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include performing post-closing reverifications of employment, income, assets, and rent/mortgage history; executing QC activities per agency standards; reviewing loan files to identify required verification components; initiating and following up on third-party verification requests; validating borrower information against original loan data; recalculating income; identifying discrepancies or fraud indicators; maintaining detailed documentation in QC systems like ACES; meeting productivity and quality benchmarks; and adhering to company policies and regulatory standards.
