- • The Procurement Analyst role at PFM Asset Management is critical to ensuring efficient and cost-effective acquisition of materials, supplies, equipment, and services that support clinical trial delivery, directly impacting operational efficiency and competitive advantage.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and implementing procurement strategies aligned with company objectives, managing the solicitation process by reviewing specifications and costs, negotiating favorable terms with suppliers, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of market trends to drive savings and innovation.
- • The role operates within a specialized procurement function supporting life sciences and clinical trial operations, contributing to organizational transformation by building procurement capabilities and ensuring compliance in vendor selection and bidding processes.
- • The incumbent will develop expertise in clinical trial procurement, contract research organization (CRO) operations, and strategic sourcing, while gaining experience in cost reduction, risk mitigation, and vendor-enabled innovation—key competencies for advancement in supply chain and procurement leadership.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, economics, or a related field (or international equivalent)
- • Minimum of five years of work experience in life science procurement and outsourcing
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, particularly Excel and Word
- • Experience with clinical trial procurement and contract research organization operations
- • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to achieve cost savings and favorable vendor terms
- • Knowledge of purchasing policies, processes, and procedures
