• • As a Product Builder, you will operate at the forefront of Mews' technological transformation, blending deep technical expertise with strong product intuition and organizational leadership. Your primary responsibility will be to identify, drive, and deliver high-leverage product opportunities that often span multiple teams and domains. You will lead by example in building AI-native products, guiding strategic direction, and acting as a force multiplier for innovation across the organization. This involves taking end-to-end ownership of product initiatives, from meticulously defining the problem and prototyping solutions to deploying them into production. You will be empowered to build rapidly, ship features frequently, and iterate based on real-world customer feedback. A key aspect of this role is leading the design and implementation of sophisticated systems that power critical product areas, including product-led growth mechanics, intelligent onboarding and automation workflows, comprehensive multi-property operational tooling and business intelligence dashboards, and cutting-edge AI-powered features like Smart Tips and co-pilot functionalities. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers and Designers, maintaining alignment on strategic direction while retaining the autonomy for day-to-day execution. The Product Builder operates as a self-contained unit, empowered to make critical decisions, run experiments, and own the entire delivery lifecycle. You will be expected to set an exceptionally high bar for both technical and product quality, ensuring that the systems you build are not only functional but also sustainable and adaptable for future evolution. Furthermore, you will play a crucial role in mentoring other engineers who aspire to become Product Builders, as well as guiding existing Product Builders to adopt and refine modern development practices. A significant focus will be on championing AI-native development across the team, promoting ways of working that are faster, smarter, and minimize waste. You will make pragmatic and effective use of cloud-native platforms, integrations, and managed services to solve complex problems efficiently, avoiding unnecessary reinvention of the wheel. You will also lead the discovery and delivery of complex, cross-cutting initiatives that have a significant impact on both the business and our customers. In ambiguous areas, you will shape product direction, working closely with leadership to influence strategic bets and contribute to the long-term product vision. Your leadership will extend to mentoring and enabling other Product Builders and Engineers across the company through pairing, code reviews, coaching, and hands-on leadership. You will drive the adoption of best-in-class AI tools, rapidly prototyping solutions and scaling promising ideas into robust product experiences. Establishing reusable patterns, frameworks, or services will be essential to accelerate the work of other builders and enhance overall team velocity. You will define and share best practices for effective AI-native development, empowering others, even those outside of product building roles, to develop faster and more effectively. You will represent the builder mindset across various organizational functions, evangelizing a culture of experimentation, autonomy, and pragmatic problem-solving.
