- • As Product Counsel at Delinea, you will serve as a trusted legal advisor to Product, Engineering, and R&D teams, providing strategic legal and regulatory guidance throughout the entire product lifecycle—from development and design to launch and post-release support—ensuring compliance and enabling business objectives in the global cybersecurity and SaaS landscape.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include conducting legal risk assessments for new and existing products, advising on data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA), export controls, open-source licensing, and AI regulations, drafting and negotiating vendor and customer agreements, and educating internal teams on compliance requirements.
- • You will join a mission-driven, innovative legal team at Delinea, a leader in identity security, working collaboratively across functions to protect customer data and enable secure digital transformation, with the autonomy to operate independently in a fast-paced, scaling environment.

🎯 Requirements
- • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school and active bar admission in at least one U.S. state.
- • Four or more years of relevant legal experience, preferably including in-house product counsel roles supporting high-growth SaaS or technology companies.
- • Demonstrated expertise in data privacy and protection laws (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA), export controls, intellectual property, open-source licensing, and emerging AI regulations.
- • Proven ability to draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial and technology agreements.
- • Strong technical understanding of SaaS platforms and the cybersecurity industry, with excellent communication, judgment, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across global teams.
