- • Work directly alongside a Senior Product Designer embedded in the team building the Direct Suite, a suite of customer-facing products including a self-service kiosk, customizable ordering website, mobile app, and catering solution.
- • Contribute to the end-to-end design process of real-world products used by restaurants and retailers to connect directly with their customers across digital and on-premise channels.
- • Participate in user research, discovery sessions, and product planning to understand business needs and customer pain points in the food and retail industries.
- • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that translate user needs into intuitive, scalable, and user-friendly interfaces.
- • Collaborate with engineers and product managers to refine design solutions, ensure technical feasibility, and maintain design consistency across platforms.
- • Receive personalized mentorship to develop a tailored learning and career plan focused on product design skills and industry best practices.
- • Own a real, scoped design project from initial discovery through to handoff, with the opportunity to present your work and add it to your professional portfolio.
- • Gain exposure to an API-first platform that integrates with global ordering systems, enabling businesses to sell anywhere and deliver everywhere.
- • Engage in cross-functional team meetings to understand how design decisions impact operational workflows and revenue growth for customers.

- • No portfolio is required to apply, but submitting one—whether from university, personal projects, or coursework—is encouraged to demonstrate your design capabilities.
🎯 Requirements
- • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a design-related program (e.g., Product Design, Interaction Design, UX/UI Design)
- • Basic proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
- • Strong interest in user-centered design and solving real-world business problems through digital interfaces
- • Ability to communicate ideas clearly and collaborate effectively in a team environment
- • Willingness to learn and receive feedback in a fast-paced, product-driven culture
- • Passion for food tech, retail tech, or digital ordering ecosystems (nice-to-have)
