📋 Description

• Own end-to-end design for product areas, from problem definition through research, prototyping, and shipping to real users.
• Design and prototype complex, multi-step operational workflows in Figma using AI tools like Claude Code and Cursor to enhance efficiency and precision.
• Conduct direct user research with financial advisors to deeply understand pain points, behaviors, and unmet needs in wealth management workflows.
• Improve and uphold the company’s design system to ensure consistency, scalability, and high-quality visual and interaction design across all product surfaces.
• Translate high-data-density, regulated financial workflows into intuitive, simple, and clear user experiences that reduce cognitive load and administrative burden.
• Ship frequently and iteratively, prioritizing real user feedback over prolonged planning cycles — preferring action over perfection.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners and Engineers to co-define problems and solutions, not just execute design briefs.
• Challenge assumptions, advocate for user-centered solutions, and provide and receive direct, constructive feedback to elevate product quality.
• Simplify complex, multi-user financial systems with high stakes and regulatory constraints into seamless, accessible experiences.
• Design for clarity, simplicity, and execution excellence — with strong attention to visual hierarchy, micro-interactions, and copywriting.
• Work in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment where design directly shapes the future of wealth management technology.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience designing complex, multi-user products with high data density and operational workflows
• Proficiency in Figma and experience using AI-assisted design tools like Claude Code or Cursor
• Demonstrated ability to simplify intricate, regulated financial or operational systems into intuitive user experiences
• Strong track record of shipping high-quality designs quickly and iteratively in fast-paced environments
• Comfort working with ambiguity and partnering cross-functionally to define problems, not just execute designs
• Deep commitment to visual design quality, interaction clarity, and precise copywriting
