- • As a Product Development Project Manager at Winona Health, Inc., you will be instrumental in orchestrating the efficient execution of our in-house technology development. Winona is a pioneering telemedicine company specializing in HRT for women navigating menopause, and we pride ourselves on our vertically integrated business model. This includes proprietary technology such as our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, patient care administration platform, patient portal, website, and marketing technology. We also operate two compounding pharmacies and employ a dedicated team of in-house physicians, all contributing to our commitment to delivering world-class care.
- • This role is primarily focused on project management, requiring a highly organized and proactive individual to ensure our development team remains aligned, focused, and operates with maximum efficiency. You will be the central point of coordination, bridging the gap between development, product management, and various cross-functional stakeholders. Your expertise will be crucial in managing ongoing features, short-term tasks, and ambitious long-term initiatives, ensuring they are delivered on time and to a high standard.
- • While this is a non-technical position, a strong background in software development or extensive experience working closely with engineering teams is a significant advantage. You must possess a solid understanding of technical terminology and development workflows. This knowledge will enable you to communicate effectively with engineers, meticulously coordinate dependencies between different development streams, and make well-informed decisions regarding project timelines and resource allocation. Your ability to translate technical concepts and project needs into clear directives will be key to success.
- • A core aspect of your responsibility will be Project and Roadmap Management. You will own the project timelines, meticulously define priorities, and ensure due dates are met for all features, enhancements, and long-term strategic initiatives. Working in close collaboration with the Product Manager and Dev Team Leads, you will play a vital role in prioritizing tasks. This involves a delicate balancing act, weighing the potential business impact against available resources and understanding the inherent trade-offs, such as the balance between quality and speed of delivery.
- • You will be responsible for monitoring current sprint work to ensure progress aligns with immediate goals, while simultaneously keeping a keen eye on long-term roadmap objectives and critical milestones. Your oversight will ensure that day-to-day development activities contribute effectively to the overarching strategic vision.
- • Sprint Facilitation and Event Management are also key components of this role. You will lead essential Sprint Events, including Daily Stand-Ups, Retrospectives, and Sprint Planning/Sizing sessions, ensuring they are productive and outcome-oriented. Furthermore, you will facilitate Weekly Demo Meetings, preparing comprehensive agendas that highlight current progress and focus on high-priority items. A critical function will be to ensure that clear action items arising from all sprint events are meticulously documented, actively tracked, and effectively communicated to all relevant parties.
- • In terms of Ticket and Workflow Management, you will be tasked with maintaining the integrity and accuracy of ticket statuses. This is crucial for preventing workflow disruptions and ensuring that all requirements and any ambiguities are clearly documented in a central, accessible location. You will review incoming tickets to identify the specific teams required for their completion (e.g., Backend, Frontend, Quality Assurance) and collaborate with team leads to ensure appropriate resource allocation. A proactive approach will involve actively monitoring tickets that appear stagnant or have remained in a particular status for an extended period, flagging them for attention and resolution. You will also participate in support workflows, responding to requests from the Patient Care or Physician teams and flagging critical issues for immediate investigation by the development team.
- • As a Stakeholder and Cross-Team Coordinator, you will serve as the primary point of contact for multiple internal departments. Your role will be to manage and coordinate requirements that are dependent on the development team's output. You will ensure that leadership and stakeholders are consistently kept informed about project progress, any changes in scope, or significant blockers through regular, concise updates. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining shared project trackers, dashboards, and essential onboarding materials for new team members, fostering a collaborative and informed environment.
- • This role offers a unique opportunity to significantly impact the efficiency and success of Winona's innovative technology development, directly contributing to our mission of providing exceptional telemedicine services.
