Product Engineer - Gram (MCP Cloud Platform)

📋 Description

• • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of Gram, our fast-growing MCP Cloud Platform, from whiteboard sketches to production roll-outs and post-launch optimization. You’ll be the primary driver of new features that let thousands of AI builders connect their data to agents safely and at scale.
• • Architect and scale the core web infrastructure that powers Gram’s hosted MCP runtime, handling spikes from both two-person startups and Fortune 500s like LaunchDarkly and Fivetran. Expect to design resilient systems that stay online when traffic 10×’s overnight.
• • Craft intuitive, lightning-fast front-end experiences in React (or the framework you convince us is better) so developers can deploy code, curate toolsets and publish MCP servers in minutes, not days.
• • Collaborate daily with one of our founders—an ex-founder and domain expert—translating customer pain points into product specs, then turning those specs into shippable code before the competition even notices the gap.
• • Run support rotations alongside engineering; you’ll talk directly to users in Slack, pair-debug live issues, and feed real-world feedback straight back into the roadmap. Nothing is “someone else’s problem.”
• • Instrument, measure and iterate. You’ll define KPIs, wire up observability, and run A/B tests to prove that the feature you shipped last night actually moved the needle on adoption or latency.
• • Contribute to our open-source footprint. Gram is being built in the open; your pull requests, design docs and conference talks will shape the broader MCP ecosystem and attract the next wave of contributors.
• • Champion security and compliance from day one. You’ll bake in zero-trust patterns, fine-grained auth and audit trails so enterprises can trust Gram with their most sensitive data.
• • Mentor and be mentored. Our team is a mix of ex-founders, language-runtime wizards and infra veterans. Teach us your favorite React pattern; we’ll teach you how we shaved 200 ms off cold-start time in Go.
• • Work out of our downtown San Francisco office four days a week, surrounded by whiteboards, high-speed Wi-Fi and the best coffee within a three-block radius. Remote Fridays keep the balance.
• • Influence pricing, packaging and go-to-market. When you see a feature that could unlock a new tier, you’ll build a prototype, validate it with design partners and watch it become a revenue line on next quarter’s board slide.
