Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the end-to-end localization strategy for KnowBe4’s award-winning Human Risk Management platform, ensuring every training module, phishing simulation, and security assessment resonates authentically with users in 25+ languages and 100+ countries. You will translate not just words but culture, tone, and context so that a compliance officer in Tokyo receives the same clarity and urgency as one in São Paulo.
- • Build and scale a data-driven localization program that reduces time-to-market for new product releases from months to weeks. You’ll establish repeatable workflows, glossaries, style guides, and quality gates that empower regional teams to self-serve while maintaining KnowBe4’s trademark clarity and humor.
- • Partner daily with Product Management, Engineering, UX, and Customer Success to prioritize localization backlogs, identify internationalization blockers early, and champion accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) so every learner—regardless of language, device, or ability—can engage without friction.
- • Lead a distributed network of in-country linguists, LSPs, and cultural consultants; negotiate contracts, set SLAs, and run quarterly business reviews that drive 98 %+ on-time delivery and continuous cost-per-word reduction. You’ll introduce AI-enabled translation memory and terminology management tools that cut redundant effort by 30 %.
- • Design and execute in-context linguistic QA and user-acceptance testing across web, mobile, and email channels. You’ll script test cases, coordinate bug bashes, and analyze NPS deltas by locale to prove that great localization directly lifts customer retention and expansion revenue.
- • Evangelize the business impact of localization at the executive level. Prepare monthly dashboards that correlate localized content usage with reduced phishing click rates and higher training completion scores, turning cultural nuance into quantifiable risk reduction for our 70,000+ customers.
- • Champion inclusive language and cultural sensitivity standards that safeguard KnowBe4’s brand reputation across diverse markets. You’ll chair a cross-functional “Global Voice Council” that reviews every joke, meme, and scenario for cultural appropriateness before it ships.
- • Mentor junior program managers and linguists in agile methodologies, fostering a culture of experimentation where A/B tests on subject-line tone or visual metaphors can yield double-digit engagement lifts. You’ll host monthly lunch-and-learns on emerging localization tech and geopolitical trends.
- • Continuously scan the competitive landscape for localization innovations—from neural MT engines to synthetic voice-overs—and pilot 2–3 experiments per quarter that keep KnowBe4 two steps ahead of adversaries and competitors alike.
- • Serve as the single source of truth for localization budgets, forecasts, and ROI; present findings in board-level QBRs and secure incremental investment for under-penetrated regions such as DACH, Nordics, and MENA.
