- • Lead the product strategy for the fastest-evolving part of Gearset’s platform, expanding from comparison and deployment to encompass the full journey from idea to shipped change on Salesforce.
- • Collaborate closely with UX, Product Marketing, and Engineering teams to identify, prioritize, and solve the most critical problems faced by Salesforce development teams.
- • Deeply understand user needs by applying the company’s core value of knowing the job users need to get done, translating insights into actionable product initiatives.
- • Shape the future of software delivery by defining how AI agents and human developers work together to build, test, and release changes on Salesforce.
- • Own the product roadmap for a high-impact area with the most user touch points, ensuring alignment with company vision and market opportunities.
- • Drive product discovery and validation processes to ensure features deliver real value before scaling, using data and user feedback to guide decisions.
- • Work across the entire product lifecycle—from ideation and prototyping to launch and iteration—ensuring seamless integration with existing platform capabilities.
- • Communicate product vision and progress clearly to internal stakeholders and external users, maintaining transparency and excitement around product evolution.
- • Prioritize features based on user impact, technical feasibility, and strategic alignment, balancing short-term wins with long-term platform growth.
- • Stay current with trends in DevOps, Salesforce development practices, and AI in software delivery to inform product direction and competitive positioning.
- • Act as the primary product advocate within the organization, bridging technical teams with business goals and customer needs.
- • Measure product success through defined metrics and iterate based on performance data, user behavior, and feedback loops.
- • Support the scaling of AI-powered capabilities within the platform, ensuring they enhance rather than complicate the user experience.
- • Engage directly with customers and user communities to gather qualitative and quantitative insights that inform product priorities.
- • Maintain a strong focus on usability, reliability, and security as the platform evolves to support more complex and automated workflows.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience as a Product Manager in a SaaS or developer tools environment
- • Deep understanding of DevOps practices and software delivery pipelines
- • Experience working with AI-powered features or automation in product development
- • Strong collaboration skills with engineering, UX, and marketing teams
- • Demonstrated ability to define and execute product strategy from ideation to launch
- • Familiarity with Salesforce development ecosystem or enterprise software platforms
