- • Own the end-to-end product strategy and execution for a core area of Light’s Smart Financial Platform, from 0→1 to scale, focusing on automating complex financial workflows.
- • Translate intricate accounting and finance processes into intuitive, AI-powered user experiences that modernize how global companies manage money.
- • Partner closely with Engineering, Design, and Data teams to ship high-impact, beautifully crafted products at speed while maintaining precision and quality.
- • Turn ambiguity into clear priorities, measurable metrics, and aligned direction in collaboration with Engineering, Customer Success, and Sales teams.
- • Work directly with CFOs, controllers, and finance operators to uncover deep user insights and co-create automation features that solve real financial pain points.
- • Make crisp, high-quality decisions that balance velocity, accuracy, and business impact, ensuring timely delivery without compromising product integrity.
- • Build and maintain a sharp, insight-driven product roadmap aligned with Light’s mission to redefine global financial operations.
- • Ship key features that significantly simplify and accelerate finance operations, measured by adoption, efficiency gains, and time saved for customers.
- • Embed metrics-driven decision-making into every stage of product development within your domain, ensuring outcomes are tracked and iterated upon.
- • Earn trust and collaboration from Engineering and Design teams by enabling clarity, structure, and momentum in product delivery.
- • Act as a force multiplier across the organization by adding structure, speed, and focus to ambiguous or complex initiatives.
- • Apply first-principles thinking to new problems in finance, automation, and AI, leveraging emerging tools to improve productivity and decision-making.
- • Communicate product vision and customer requirements with clarity to engineering teams, translating business needs into technical direction.
- • Engage and influence stakeholders at leadership and delivery levels, ensuring alignment across functions and driving consensus on priorities.
- • Demonstrate a bias for action by testing hypotheses quickly, prioritizing experimentation over theoretical planning.
- • Quantify impact through measurable outcomes such as adoption rates, operational efficiency gains, or reduction in manual finance tasks.
- • Contribute to shaping a category-defining product in next-gen finance, working within a small, high-output team that expects excellence.

- • Multi-disciplinary experience in product development within high-growth SaaS and AI startup environments
- • Ability to translate product vision and customer requirements into clear guidance for engineering teams
- • Influential experience in stakeholder engagement and communication at leadership and delivery team levels
- • Practical experience using AI or emerging technology tools to improve productivity, insight, or decision-making
- • Exceptionally structured thinking with the ability to cut through complexity quickly
- • Bias for action: preference for testing over theorizing
