Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the full lifecycle of SentiLink’s CIP (Customer Identification Program) and Compliance API products—from zero-to-one innovation to global scale—making these offerings the next major revenue engine for a Forbes Fintech 50 company that already verifies hundreds of millions of identities.
- • Lead rigorous customer discovery: run 5–10 in-depth interviews per month with fraud, risk, and compliance leaders at banks, fintechs, lenders, and card issuers; synthesize findings into crisp problem statements, JTBD (Jobs-to-Be-Done) frameworks, and quantified opportunity sizing that the executive team uses to set quarterly OKRs.
- • Translate insights into high-impact product roadmaps and detailed PRDs that balance net-new capabilities (e.g., real-time sanctions screening, synthetic identity scores, dynamic KYC workflows) with relentless optimization of existing endpoints (latency < 100 ms, 99.99 % uptime, 20 % YoY cost reduction).
- • Collaborate daily with a cross-functional squad of 6–8 engineers, 2 data scientists, 1 designer, and 1 technical writer; run weekly sprint planning, backlog grooming, and story-mapping sessions that keep velocity above 35 story points per sprint while maintaining < 5 % carry-over.
- • Partner with Sales and Solutions Engineering to craft ROI models and proof-of-value pilots that shorten enterprise sales cycles from 6 months to 90 days; co-present at quarterly business reviews with customers’ CROs and CCOs to showcase measurable fraud-loss reduction and compliance lift.
- • Work hands-on with terabytes of identity, device, and behavioral data using SQL, Python notebooks, and Looker dashboards to surface fraud patterns, tune ML thresholds, and validate that new features drive statistically significant improvements in precision and recall.
- • Champion a data-driven culture by defining KPI trees (adoption, revenue per API call, false-positive rate, NPS) and instrumenting every release with event tracking; publish monthly “Product Pulse” memos that the CEO forwards to the board as evidence of product-led growth.
- • Stay ahead of the regulatory curve: monitor FinCEN, CFPB, and OCC rule changes; translate evolving KYC/AML guidance into backlog items so customers remain compliant without re-engineering their own stacks.
- • Represent SentiLink at industry conferences (Money 20/20, LendIt, ABA Risk) and in front of Congress when new legislation is introduced—our last PM testified on synthetic identity fraud, shaping national policy.
- • Foster a culture of experimentation: run A/B tests, canary releases, and blue-green deployments to de-risk launches; maintain a public changelog and deprecation policy that earns developer trust and drives API adoption up 40 % YoY.
- • Mentor junior PMs and analysts, instituting best practices in opportunity canvases, customer journey mapping, and outcome-based roadmaps that scale as the product organization triples in size over the next 24 months.
