- • As a Product Manager on OpenAI’s Financial Engineering team, you will drive the strategy and execution of billing, payments, and monetization systems that power how revenue flows through OpenAI’s products, ensuring seamless, reliable, and efficient financial experiences for consumers and developers worldwide.
- • Day to day, you will develop roadmaps to scale billing operations, improve order-to-cash processing for strategic customers, build AI-powered tooling for Finance and User Operations teams, collaborate across product, finance, engineering, and operations to define monetization strategies, and use data to understand user needs and guide product development.
- • The Financial Engineering team at OpenAI partners closely with Engineering, Data Science, Risk, Finance, and Go-to-Market to turn cutting-edge AI capabilities into trusted, scalable products, with a strong emphasis on safety, trust, and responsible deployment aligned with OpenAI’s mission.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in financial systems and AI-driven product strategy, lead cross-functional initiatives that impact global revenue infrastructure, and gain experience shaping monetization and billing platforms at the forefront of AI innovation.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years of product management or related industry experience
- • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or a related field
- • Proven experience working in technical environments with cross-functional teams to drive product vision, define requirements, and guide milestones
- • World-class communication and collaboration skills for engaging diverse stakeholders
- • Strong leadership, organizational, and execution abilities with proven communication skills
