• • As the Remittances Product Manager, you will be entrusted with end-to-end ownership of Mama Money's international money transfer products. This is a high-impact role where you will define and execute the product strategy, ensuring our services remain competitive, user-friendly, and aligned with our social mission. Your strategic vision will guide the evolution of our remittance offerings, from conceptualization to launch and ongoing optimization.
• • A core aspect of your responsibility will be to meticulously analyze and optimize the entire customer journey for both sending and receiving money internationally. This involves identifying pain points, uncovering opportunities for improvement, and implementing solutions that enhance user experience, reduce friction, and build customer loyalty. You will be the champion for our users, ensuring their needs are at the forefront of every product decision.
• • You will work in close collaboration with our talented front-end and back-end engineering teams, translating product vision into actionable development plans. This partnership will be crucial in building robust, scalable, and innovative remittance solutions that meet the evolving demands of the market and our customer base.
• • Beyond engineering, you will foster strong relationships and collaborate effectively with a wide array of cross-functional partners. This includes engaging with design to create intuitive and appealing user interfaces, working with compliance to ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, partnering with operations to streamline service delivery, collaborating with payments teams to secure reliable and cost-effective transaction processing, and liaising with customer support to gather invaluable user feedback and address any emerging issues.
• • Your ultimate goal will be to deliver a world-class, low-cost money transfer experience that resonates with our global customer base. This means continuously seeking ways to reduce fees, improve transfer speeds, enhance security, and expand our reach to new corridors and customer segments.
• • You will be responsible for conducting market research, analyzing competitor offerings, and identifying emerging trends within the remittance and fintech landscape. This intelligence will inform your product roadmap and strategic decisions, ensuring Mama Money stays ahead of the curve.
• • You will define key product metrics and KPIs, monitor performance, and use data-driven insights to iterate and improve our remittance products. This includes tracking user acquisition, transaction volumes, customer satisfaction, and cost-efficiency.
• • You will manage the product backlog, prioritize features based on business value and customer impact, and ensure timely delivery of product enhancements and new features.
