  • • You will own Clay’s core narrative and messaging frameworks, ensuring they are precise, compelling, and tailored to distinct buyer personas and segments, enabling sales and marketing teams to articulate unique value in crowded markets.
  • • You will develop and maintain competitive intelligence assets such as battlecards, win/loss analyses, and market trend reports that equip revenue teams with actionable insights to overcome objections and win deals.
  • • You will design and deliver sales enablement tools — including training programs, playbooks, and collateral — that improve rep effectiveness, shorten sales cycles, and increase conversion rates across both sales-led and product-led motions.
  • • You will partner closely with Product to influence roadmap decisions, packaging, and pricing strategies, translating technical capabilities into market-relevant value propositions and use cases that resonate across industries.
  • • You will build and scale customer proof points — including case studies, ROI frameworks, and reference programs — that provide social proof and validate Clay’s impact for prospects and customers.
  • • You will lead go-to-market strategy for new verticals, defining ideal customer profiles (ICPs), crafting entry playbooks, and aligning positioning with automated campaigns and funnel optimization efforts led by GTM Engineering and Growth teams.
  • • You will establish feedback loops between market experiments and product positioning, using performance data to continuously refine messaging, targeting, and value articulation based on real-world results.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 8-10 years of professional experience in product marketing, go-to-market strategy, or related fields, with prior experience in product, sales, investment banking, or consulting considered a plus.
  • • 4+ years of hands-on experience in B2B SaaS product marketing at high-growth companies with complex product portfolios and multiple go-to-market motions.
  • • Proven ability to partner effectively with GTM leaders to build revenue foundations, drive growth initiatives, and influence cross-functional outcomes through trusted collaboration.
  • • Demonstrated experience navigating both sales-led and product-led growth models, with fluency in aligning messaging, enablement, and incentives across each.
  • • Strong product fluency — comfort working with technical products, engaging deeply with engineering and product teams, and translating capabilities into clear, buyer-specific value propositions.
  • • Impact-oriented mindset with deep understanding of customer buying processes, sales cycles, and revenue funnel diagnostics — able to identify leaks, test hypotheses, and optimize for conversion and retention.
