- • Drive adoption of Android as the OS of choice in India through targeted go-to-market strategies focused on retail and product marketing.
- • Own end-to-end retail marketing strategy and execution for Android premium devices, covering both online and offline channels.
- • Strategize and execute point-of-sale (POS) initiatives and above-the-line (ATL) campaigns in collaboration with internal and external partners to achieve business objectives.
- • Develop integrated, social-first marketing campaigns that position Android as a desirable and innovative platform, centered on user narratives and measurable impact.
- • Collaborate with retail, OEM, and carrier partners to build and strengthen the Android ecosystem across India.
- • Work cross-functionally with Google teams to evaluate marketing opportunities from strategic, financial, and operational perspectives.
- • Shape creative direction, monitor campaign performance, and share key learnings with relevant internal stakeholders.
- • Leverage user insights and value propositions to define product strategy and align marketing initiatives with Android’s core technology strengths.
- • Partner with creative and media agencies to co-create high-impact, consumer-focused campaigns that reflect Google’s unconventional marketing approach.
- • Demonstrate how Android solutions solve everyday and monumental user problems through technology-driven storytelling.
- • Maintain deep expertise in the mobile industry and stay current with emerging technologies, including AI tools and their applications in marketing.
- • Apply entrepreneurial thinking in a fast-paced, agile environment to adapt strategies rapidly and deliver results.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6 to 9 years of work experience in shopper marketing, consumer marketing, partnerships, category management, or strategy consulting, preferably in the tech industry
- • Detailed knowledge of and experience in the mobile industry with a passion for new technology
- • Expertise in running large-scale consumer ATL/BTL campaigns and launching new products or features to market
- • Experience in retail marketing, both online and offline
- • Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and oral communication skills
- • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to thrive in a dynamic, agile environment
