- • Own and continuously refine Freshworks’ corporate-level messaging architecture—value propositions, messaging pillars, and narrative frameworks—that underpins every keynote, analyst briefing, vision deck, strategic announcement, and thought-leadership asset worldwide.
- • Translate complex AI-driven product capabilities into crisp, emotionally resonant stories that inspire C-suite buyers, industry analysts, media, partners, and employees across North America, EMEA, and APAC.
- • Act as the editorial quarterback for major brand moments: craft the through-line for global keynotes, executive panels, flagship customer events, and product-launch scripts so that every slide, demo segue, and sound-bite ladders up to one cohesive Freshworks narrative.
- • Partner daily with the CMO, CTO, VP of Product, and VP of Communications to pressure-test messaging for clarity, differentiation, and cultural nuance, ensuring that what plays in San Mateo feels equally authentic in Singapore or São Paulo.
- • Build a repeatable messaging toolkit—templates, talking-point matrices, proof-point libraries, and competitive one-pagers—that enables Sales, Customer Success, and regional field marketing to tell the same powerful story without sounding scripted.
- • Serve as the primary messaging lead for Analyst Relations: develop briefing decks, FAQ sheets, and evidence packs that arm AR with airtight narratives for Gartner, Forrester, IDC, and emerging boutique firms.
- • Distill technical AI concepts (predictive analytics, generative copilots, agentic workflows) into plain-English value statements that resonate with both CIOs and line-of-business buyers, while preserving technical credibility.
- • Orchestrate cross-portfolio message alignment so that every product line—ITSM, CRM, HR, and Customer Support—shows up as a unified extension of the Freshworks people-first AI platform rather than a collection of point solutions.
- • Establish a quarterly messaging audit cadence: gather win/loss insights, analyst feedback, and competitive intel, then refresh core narratives to keep them razor-sharp in a fast-moving SaaS landscape.
- • Champion inclusive language and global sensibilities; ensure tone, examples, and metaphors translate across cultures without diluting impact or inadvertently alienating audiences.
- • Mentor junior PMMs and content strategists through narrative workshops, message-testing clinics, and storytelling office hours, raising the bar for narrative excellence across the marketing org.
- • Measure what matters: define KPIs for message pull-through (e.g., keynote NPS, analyst quote accuracy, sales-deck adoption) and iterate based on data, not hunches.
- • Thrive in a hybrid environment—three days per week in our Bellevue or San Mateo offices—where whiteboard sessions with executives and hallway feedback loops accelerate creative iteration.
- • Bring an entrepreneurial mindset: spot whitespace narratives, pitch bold angles, and secure executive buy-in to turn fresh ideas into market-moving campaigns.
