Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • As a Product Marketing Manager for Speech-to-Text (STT) at Deepgram, you will own the go-to-market strategy for Deepgram’s text-to-speech (TTS) offerings, positioning the company as the default choice for voice agent builders in a rapidly growing Voice AI market. This role is critical to ensuring Deepgram’s TTS technology stands out in a competitive landscape by crafting a compelling narrative that highlights its technical superiority, low latency, and cost efficiency—directly influencing developer adoption, enterprise sales, and market perception.
- • You will define and own the TTS category narrative, articulating why Deepgram’s TTS is purpose-built for voice agents and differentiating it from general-purpose providers like ElevenLabs, OpenAI, and Amazon Polly. This includes developing positioning frameworks, messaging pillars, and competitive battlecards that resonate with both technical and business buyers.
- • You will build and execute a full-funnel GTM strategy spanning developer awareness, pipeline influence, and account expansion, ensuring TTS is effectively integrated into broader STT and voice agent sales motions and surfaced at key moments in the customer journey.
- • You will lead end-to-end product launches for TTS innovations—including new voices, model upgrades, latency improvements, and deployment options—coordinating with Product, Sales, Developer Relations, and Demand Gen to ensure timely, impactful, and consistent market messaging.
- • You will enable sales teams by creating high-impact collateral, customer proof points, benchmarks, and objection-handling guides that empower reps to win TTS deals and identify expansion opportunities in existing accounts.
- • You will collaborate closely with Product and Developer Relations to gather market intelligence, translate technical capabilities into market-facing content, and produce developer-centric resources such as tutorials, documentation, SEO-optimized use cases, and demo content that align with how voice agent builders discover and evaluate solutions.
- • You will institutionalize AI-assisted workflows in your PMM practice, leveraging AI for research, competitive analysis, content drafting, and iteration—building repeatable systems that amplify your impact while maintaining strategic oversight and quality control.
- • You will operate within Deepgram’s AI-first culture, where experimentation, rapid learning, and continuous integration of AI tools into daily work are not just encouraged but expected, requiring comfort with ambiguity, fast-paced change, and proactive skill development.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of product marketing experience, with at least 2 years focused on infrastructure, API, or developer-facing products.
- • Proven ability to develop positioning and messaging from scratch, with a strong sense of quality in copy, design, and brand alignment.
- • Working knowledge of the AI landscape, including frontier models and LLM providers, enabling credible conversations with technical buyers.
- • Technical depth sufficient to engage with engineering and product teams, read API docs, and translate complex details into compelling market narratives without oversimplification.
- • Demonstrated fluency in AI-assisted workflows, with concrete examples of using AI to accelerate research, content creation, and competitive synthesis, measured by tangible outcomes.
- • Experience navigating both product-led and sales-led growth motions and understanding how they complement each other in a B2B developer and enterprise context.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental, vision, mental health support, and life/STD/LTD insurance.
- • Flexible work arrangements with unlimited PTO, generous parental leave, flexible scheduling, and 12 paid US company holidays.
- • Continuous learning and growth support via education stipends, conference participation, AI enablement workshops, and employee resource groups.
- • Financial wellness perks including a 401(k) with company match, home office stipend, quarterly productivity stipend, and tax savings programs.
