- • As a Product Operations Manager at Lendable Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in launching and scaling the company’s Mexico Credit Card product by bridging operations, product, and engineering to solve real customer problems through automation and tooling. This role is critical to transforming manual, inefficient processes into scalable, data-driven systems that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency in one of Lendable’s key growth markets.
- • You will begin by deeply engaging with customer support and early collections workflows to build empathy and insight, then design and implement automations, integrations, and internal tools that reduce manual effort, improve response times, and increase accuracy across customer-facing operations in Mexico.
- • You will join a fast-moving, high-impact fintech team backed by top-tier investors, operating at the forefront of financial innovation in the UK and expanding into the US and Mexico, where you’ll have the autonomy to own operational domains and shape systems from the ground up.
- • Your day-to-day will involve responding to customer inquiries to understand pain points, analyzing behavioral and operational data using SQL, and prototyping solutions with no-code platforms, light scripting, and API integrations to streamline support and collections processes.
- • You will build and optimize automated communication flows — including WhatsApp bots, push notifications, and email sequences — to improve customer engagement and collections efficiency while ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- • You will create internal dashboards and tooling using no-code or light-code approaches to monitor key operational metrics, track performance, and identify opportunities for improvement across the ops stack.
- • You will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Credit, Fraud, and Compliance teams to translate operational needs into technical requirements and ensure seamless integration of your solutions with backend systems.
- • You will adopt a product engineer’s mindset: breaking down ambiguous problems into testable hypotheses, measuring impact, iterating rapidly, and championing a culture of automation, quality, and continuous improvement.
- • Through this role, you will develop deep expertise in fintech operations, gain hands-on experience with data-driven product thinking in emerging markets, and build a portfolio of scalable tools and automations that directly contribute to Lendable’s mission of delivering fast, fair, and accessible credit.
- • You will grow into a versatile builder who can operate effectively in unstructured environments, balance speed with rigor, and translate customer empathy into tangible operational outcomes — skills that are highly transferable across tech, product, and operations leadership roles.
🎯 Requirements
- • Experience in operations, product, analytics, support engineering, or similar roles within tech, fintech, or scale-up environments.
- • Strong technical curiosity and hands-on ability: comfortable writing simple scripts, integrating APIs, configuring tools, and using version control (Git) — even at a basic level.
- • SQL literacy and proven ability to work with data to analyze customer behavior, measure impact, and drive decisions.
- • Experience building no-code workflows, automations, or internal tooling to improve operational efficiency.
- • Strong customer empathy and willingness to engage directly with users through manual processes (e.g., support tickets) to gain insight before automating.
- • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
- • Proficiency in both English and Spanish, written and spoken.
- • Deep understanding of Mexican consumers, particularly in the context of credit products or financial services (preferred but not required).
