- • As the Product Owner for the Donor Portal and Post-Donation Experience at FundraiseUp, you will be the pivotal strategist responsible for shaping and enhancing the critical journey donors undertake after completing a transaction. Your primary mission will be to transform donor engagement, foster retention, and encourage repeat donations into powerful, measurable growth engines. This will be achieved through a rigorous approach involving structured discovery, data-driven experimentation, and the strategic application of Machine Learning (ML) for personalized donor interactions.
- • You will play a crucial role in aligning company-wide Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) with a robust product strategy, driving tangible outcomes that directly contribute to Gross Payment Volume (GPV) and enhance the lifetime value of our donors. This involves a deep understanding of the fundraising landscape and the motivations of donors.
- • **Own Domain Strategy:** You will be the ultimate owner of the product vision for the Donor Portal and the entire post-donation experience. This includes defining the strategic roadmap, prioritizing features, and ensuring that all product initiatives are tightly aligned with overarching company and departmental OKRs. You will translate high-level business goals into actionable product plans.
- • **Drive Growth & Experiments:** A core responsibility will be to proactively identify opportunities for increasing donor retention and upsell potential. You will design, implement, and analyze structured experiments (including A/B testing) to validate hypotheses and iterate on product features based on measurable outcomes. This data-informed approach is key to optimizing the donor journey.
- • **Build a Metrics System:** You will be instrumental in establishing and maintaining a comprehensive metrics system. This involves defining the North Star metric for the post-donation experience and creating a detailed metric tree that maps business objectives to product performance and ultimately to user behavior. Tracking adoption rates, recurring donation patterns, and overall engagement will be paramount.
- • **Lead Discovery:** You will champion a culture of continuous learning and validation through deep user research. This includes conducting in-depth user interviews, analyzing cohort data and user funnels, and rigorously validating product hypotheses before committing resources to scaling solutions. Understanding the 'why' behind user actions is critical.
- • **Implement Personalization (ML):** You will explore and implement ML-driven personalization opportunities across both the Donor Portal and post-donation emails. The goal is to create more relevant and engaging experiences for each donor, thereby increasing retention rates and maximizing their lifetime value (LTV). This involves working closely with data science and engineering teams.
- • **Collaborate Cross-Functionally:** Success in this role hinges on effective collaboration. You will partner closely with engineering, design, analytics, and Go-To-Market (GTM) teams to ensure that product decisions are not only technically feasible but also strategically sound and translate directly into significant business impact. Fostering strong working relationships across departments is essential.
- • **Translate Strategy into Outcomes:** You will be responsible for taking high-level product strategy and breaking it down into concrete, actionable steps. This involves defining clear product requirements, working with development teams to ensure successful implementation, and ultimately delivering shipped products that achieve desired business outcomes. The ability to bridge the gap between vision and execution is key.
- • **User-Centricity and Ownership:** You will embody strong user ownership, regularly engaging with customers to gather feedback, understand their needs, and validate product direction. This direct connection to the user base will inform your product decisions and ensure that the Donor Portal and post-donation experience truly serve the needs of our donors.
- • **Data-Driven Decision Making:** Every decision, from feature prioritization to experiment design, must be grounded in data. You will leverage analytics tools to understand user behavior, identify trends, and measure the impact of product changes. A strong analytical mindset is non-negotiable.

🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in Product Management, with a preference for experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise software environments.
- • Proven track record of owning a product domain with demonstrable responsibility for measurable growth outcomes.
- • Strong background in experimentation, including A/B testing, funnel optimization, and cohort analysis.
- • Deep analytical skills, with proficiency in tools such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, Google Analytics, and/or SQL.
- • Demonstrated ability to translate strategic vision into structured discovery processes and successfully shipped product outcomes.
- • Comfort and experience working with AI/ML-enabled products or highly data-driven systems.
- • A strong sense of user ownership, evidenced by regular customer interaction and feedback incorporation.
- • Fluent English (C1 level) is required.
