  • • Are you a visionary Product Owner with a passion for transforming donor engagement and driving sustainable growth? FundraiseUp Inc. is seeking a strategic and data-driven Product Owner to lead our Donor Portal and post-donation experience. This is a unique opportunity to own a critical part of the donor journey, turning engagement into measurable growth levers and significantly impacting our company's Gross Processing Volume (GPV) and donor lifetime value.
  • • In this pivotal role, you will be the architect of the post-donation experience, responsible for ensuring that every interaction after a donation is not just satisfactory, but actively fosters loyalty, encourages repeat contributions, and cultivates long-term relationships. You will bridge the gap between our company's overarching objectives and the tangible product strategies that achieve them, with a direct line of sight to business outcomes.
  • • Your core mission will be to define and execute a compelling product vision for the Donor Portal and all subsequent donor communications. This involves a deep understanding of our donors, their motivations, and their journey with us. You will be instrumental in identifying opportunities for enhanced engagement, retention, and upsell, translating these insights into structured experiments and data-backed iterations. Success will be measured by tangible improvements in donor adoption rates, recurring donation percentages, and overall engagement metrics.
  • • Key responsibilities will include:
  • • **Own Domain Strategy:** Develop and champion the product vision and strategy for the Donor Portal and the broader post-donation experience. This strategy must be meticulously aligned with FundraiseUp's company-wide Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and departmental goals, ensuring that your product initiatives contribute directly to our strategic priorities.
  • • **Drive Growth & Experiments:** Proactively identify opportunities to increase donor retention and explore avenues for upsell or increased giving. You will design, implement, and analyze structured experiments (including A/B testing) to validate hypotheses and drive measurable improvements. Iteration based on these outcomes will be a continuous process.
  • • **Build a Metrics System:** Establish a robust metrics framework, including defining a clear North Star metric and a detailed metric tree. This system will track the flow from business objectives down to specific product features and ultimately to user behavior, providing critical insights into adoption, recurring donation patterns, and overall engagement levels.
  • • **Lead Discovery:** Employ a rigorous discovery process that includes conducting in-depth user interviews, analyzing cohort data, and meticulously examining funnel performance. This data-driven approach will ensure that product hypotheses are validated before significant development resources are committed, minimizing risk and maximizing impact.
  • • **Implement Personalization (ML):** Explore and test the application of Machine Learning (ML) driven personalization across the Donor Portal and email communications. The goal is to create more relevant and engaging experiences for each donor, thereby increasing retention and lifetime value (LTV).
  • • **Collaborate Cross-Functionally:** Foster strong, collaborative relationships with engineering, design, analytics, marketing, and sales teams. You will ensure seamless communication and alignment, translating product decisions into impactful business outcomes and a cohesive go-to-market strategy.
  • • **Champion User Understanding:** Regularly engage with customers to gather feedback, understand their needs, and validate product direction. Your deep empathy for the user will be a driving force behind your product decisions.
  • • **Translate Strategy into Outcomes:** Demonstrate a proven ability to translate high-level strategic goals into actionable product roadmaps, structured discovery processes, and ultimately, shipped features that deliver measurable results.
  • • **Embrace Data-Driven Decision Making:** Leverage deep analytical skills to interpret complex datasets, identify trends, and inform product strategy. Proficiency in tools like Amplitude, Mixpanel, Google Analytics, and SQL is highly valued.
  • • **Drive AI/ML Integration:** Be comfortable and proactive in working with AI/ML-enabled products and data-driven systems, identifying opportunities to leverage these technologies to scale performance and enhance the donor experience.
  • • Success in this role will be defined by the creation of a clear and compelling product vision for the post-donation experience, demonstrable growth in donor adoption and repeat donations, a well-managed and consistently iterated experiment backlog, strong strategic alignment across product and go-to-market teams, and the meaningful integration of AI to drive performance.
