- • Own the product roadmap for PactFi’s secure, end-to-end private-credit platform as it scales from early-adopter success to industry-standard infrastructure. You will translate a $17 T market opportunity into a prioritized backlog that delights borrowers, lenders, counsel, and fund administrators alike.
- • Spend 30-40 % of your time in the field: sit in on deal-closing calls, observe KYC bottlenecks, and walk the fund-ops floor to collect unfiltered user pain points. Turn these insights into crisp PRDs that balance regulatory rigor with elegant UX.
- • Partner with two of the three largest private-credit managers on the planet—our founding design partners—to co-create new modules for document sharing, funds-flow orchestration, and covenant monitoring. Ship MVPs in 6-week cycles and iterate rapidly based on real transaction data.
- • Translate complex credit-agreement logic into intuitive workflows. You will map waterfall calculations, LIBOR/SOFR toggles, and borrower draw-down schedules into features that reduce manual errors and cut closing times from weeks to days.
- • Build and maintain a living product roadmap that aligns engineering capacity (currently 12 full-stack developers) with revenue-bearing client commitments. Ruthlessly prioritize features using RICE scoring while carving out 20 % capacity for technical debt and SOC-2 controls.
- • Own go-to-market playbooks for every release: draft release notes, train client-success teams, and craft ROI narratives that help business development close six-figure ARR expansions.
- • Establish KPIs that matter—time-to-close, KYC completion rate, document-version conflicts—and instrument the product with Segment, Mixpanel, and Metabase dashboards. Present findings to the exec team every two weeks.
- • Champion a culture of experimentation. Run A/B tests on new onboarding flows, measure impact on activation rates, and socialize learnings across design, engineering, and compliance.
- • Act as the connective tissue between bank-grade security requirements and user delight. Translate SOC-2 controls and pen-test findings into friction-less UX patterns (e.g., SSO, encrypted doc rooms, immutable audit trails).
- • Mentor junior PMs and analysts as the team doubles in size over the next 12 months. Codify product processes—from user-story templates to sprint retros—so we scale without losing velocity.
- • Stay ahead of market trends: tokenization, Basel IV capital rules, and ESG-linked credit facilities. Feed these insights into a three-year product vision that keeps PactFi at the vanguard of private-asset digitization.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5–10 years of total work experience with at least 3 years in product management or product strategy roles
- • Demonstrated background in corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, private credit, capital markets, or trading
- • Proven ability to translate complex financial workflows into intuitive software features
- • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to C-suite clients and engineering teams alike
- • Process-oriented, highly organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment
