📋 Description

• MagicSchool is at the forefront of revolutionizing education through cutting-edge generative AI technology, and we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Professional Learning & Community Engagement Specialist to join our mission-driven team. This is a unique opportunity to blend your passion for educator development with your talent for building vibrant communities, directly impacting K–12 teachers and students in Hillsborough County and the surrounding Tampa metro area. As a field-forward role, you will be the regional face of MagicSchool, embodying our commitment to empowering educators and fostering joy within the teaching profession.
• In this pivotal role, your responsibilities will be strategically divided to maximize your impact. Approximately 50% of your time will be dedicated to Professional Learning Development & Delivery. This involves designing and facilitating highly engaging professional development sessions, both in-person and virtually, meticulously tailored to meet the specific needs and challenges of districts and educators. You will be instrumental in developing and continuously refining training content, creating a comprehensive suite of resources that includes dynamic live sessions and accessible asynchronous materials. Your expertise will ensure that educators not only understand but can effectively integrate our AI platform into their teaching practices, enhancing their efficiency and creativity.
• The remaining 30% of your focus will be on Community Field Engagement & Pioneer Program Activation. This is where your grassroots enthusiasm and community-building skills will shine. You will be responsible for executing memorable "surprise-and-delight" field moments that create buzz and foster positive associations with MagicSchool. Representing our brand at local and regional events, you will be a key advocate, driving educator engagement, encouraging the sharing of powerful stories, and activating our network of "Pioneers" – educators who are leading the charge with AI in their classrooms. Your presence and energy will be crucial in building a strong, supportive community of educators who feel connected and inspired.
• A crucial 10% of your role will involve Consultative Solutioning & Regional Strategy. You will work hand-in-hand with our Sales and Customer Experience (CX) teams, as well as Solution Architects, to collaborate on pilot programs and develop effective adoption plans. Your deep understanding of the educational landscape and your ability to connect with educators will be invaluable in shaping these strategies. Furthermore, you will be tasked with capturing critical local insights – understanding the unique needs, challenges, and successes within Hillsborough County – and feeding this intelligence back to our product, professional learning, and marketing teams to inform future development and campaigns.
• The final 10% of your time will be dedicated to essential Cross-Functional Collaboration. You will coordinate closely with various internal teams to ensure that regional efforts are seamlessly aligned with national strategies. This includes sharing valuable field feedback to support our voice-of-customer initiatives and contributing to broader strategic planning. Your ability to bridge the gap between the field and internal operations will be key to our collective success.
• This role is ideal for an experienced educator, a seasoned professional development leader, and a natural community builder who thrives on connecting with people in their environment. You are energized by the prospect of being on the ground, understanding the realities of the classroom, and translating that understanding into impactful support and engagement. You possess dynamic facilitation and public speaking skills, making you comfortable and effective when addressing both individual educators and district leaders. Your passion for educator engagement, storytelling, and grassroots brand-building is evident, and you have a proven track record of supporting edtech tools and navigating the complexities of school or district implementation processes.
• We are looking for someone who is excited to travel regionally, with an expectation of up to 75% travel during peak seasons and a consistent 50% year-round, to effectively cover Hillsborough County and its surrounding areas. This role requires you to be based within a one-hour drive of Hillsborough County, ensuring your accessibility and presence in the region. 🎯 Requirements

• Based within a 1-hour drive of Hillsborough County, Florida.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in education, instructional coaching, or edtech professional development/community roles.
• Proven ability in dynamic facilitation and public speaking, comfortable engaging with both educators and district leaders.
• Demonstrated passion for educator engagement, storytelling, and grassroots brand-building.
• Experience supporting edtech tools and navigating school or district implementation processes.
• Willingness and ability to travel regionally up to 75% during peak seasons and 50% year-round.
